A New Reading List
Going to the bookstore is quite possibly the most rewarding experience for an academic wannabee like myself. There is something about placing the stack of books on the register counter andthe journey home fills the mind with all sorts of guesses about the content of the books and the nature of the writing. It all comes down to the moment of triumph when, upon returning home, the books are removed from the bag and placed in the appropriate pile, usually labeled “to read”.
