As you said, the unreleased KGet from KDE4 already supports it, and that should be very nice for distros that include it. And DownThemAll 1.0 is almost out, and that Firefox extension should make it pretty easy for most curious people to try it out.

Also, there are other important features like automatic error recovery, which isn't too exciting but can be quite a time saver on multi gig files.</description>
